ok first of all this is legit.

 

 

i work along with a mate who is employed as a contractor to my employer, the nature f his work is radio communications, Ariel, door access control and security camera stuff.

 

on chatting to him today he noticed i was using the binatone 950 radios, he said you want to get the proper stuff, i have bought a stack of the radio's off your old employer.

 

 

he says he has a load off Motorola radios that he can program as required,he asked if i know anyone that may be interested in buying any, with chargers of course.

 

straight away i thought of you guys on the forum, he says he could even hire out for large shoots etc, ( this chap provided the radios for the film crew for the tomb raider films)

 

so talking to a complete idiot like me from what i gather he can program individual channels to these devices, non license channels ( like the the channels used on my binatone), and also for the licensed channels for either local area or full uk, you will need to apply for license as you require, he went on to say they are about £70, you would be better off getting full uk so you can use them anywhere in uk.he says they have a range of about a mile.

 

so there you have it, he is going to give me the info on the radios etc ( tech stuff via email), i said i would put a post on the forum to see if there is an interest, he has quite a lot of these sets 2,s 4, 6 banks if you follow.

 

he is going to program a pair up for me to try out on my next outing rough shooting, from what i can recall they are quite a large radio compared to the little binatone i have, he has not give me any idea yet of price, he did say obviously hiring would make him more money but he is not to bothered.

 

i have gave him pw site web address so he may be looking it up or even posting at some point,

 

as i said at start this is genuine, this guy knows his stuff and can be trusted, i will post his contact and company details ( i take it this will not break any forum rules)once i have consulted him, just in-case you may wish to contact him directly, just for your information he has hired radio's to over seas as well so that is not a problem for him.
