blackthorn
try with the but under your armpit, hand on the fore end , other hand with a good grip of the barrel, give a tap on the barrel to brake it, as john 5 said eat your weetabix. shot my mates FAC 80 doing 20 ft lb (it is the beast)
Mav
Dam that was hard. I think it was more me thinking i was going to damage it... but its hard to brake it as its new i guess, never had any problems with any other rifle. Hope it will get easier with time.. "Weetabix 4 the WIN" Now that i have braked the barrel should I oil it? What would you guys recommend oil wise? Thanks All.
Theskyfox
Firstly get yourself some Bisley gun oil and a silicone cloth, then just put a light oiling of it over the whole gun at the end of each use with the cloth and put a little oil on areas of abrasion and movement. Do NOT put any oil down the barrel itself, instead get some of those cotton based cleaning pellets off the net. You load them in and fire one or two off at the end of each time you shoot with it and itl take any rubbish or debris out of the barrel and keep it working fine. Also the rifles are usually a little hard to cock first time, I know my HW95K took a good few times before it got easier. Hope it helps, -Andrew
blackthorn
if you oil the barrel make sure you stand the rifle barrel down so any excess oil don't run into the air chamber
