kitchy Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 just bought a hawke side winder normal mildot not sr12 Ir red and green and im sweating to get out with it goaing to get some mounts tomorrow with it being 30mm scope and jsut checked the weather and its goaing to be quite GRIM!! also took the side wheel off looks classy but cant function to maximun output with it on 6x24x56 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Medic1281 Posted May 10, 2012 Report Share Posted May 10, 2012 I've got the same scope on my .22lr. It's a good scope but loses picture quality at high magnification. It's not bad up to about 18x though. I find that it's a bit too fancy for my needs though, I keep altering things on it and forget that holdovers change when you turn the mag up! Hence I've just bought a S&B 8x56 for the .22 instead. That way I will just get used to the scope on a fixed mag and won't have the temptation to play with it! kitchy Posted May 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 hmmmmm... it says its true mildot scope at 10x mag so i have it on 10 its perfect for what im doing but if i set my scopes at 30 yards say and what would 1 mildot be my hawke 4x16x50's were great id set them at 30 and its a .177 so they were still set to 40 so i was realy happy with them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
