johnny
Got Sky broadband with sky router modem, it's packed up so bought a new one will it automatically read broadband signal or do I have to set it up. Instructions in box are a big vague? Computer and iPhone show the wireless signal but no Internet connection. Any help gratefully received :-)
Sm0kah
You have to go into the router settings and input your isp username and password. Connect it all up to your computer and phoneline. Run your internet browser in the address bar type the I.P number of the router which should be on the bottom of the router. It should be something like 192.264.4.2 or similar. It will then load up the routers settings. Then in the settings click WAN (wide area network) and insert your isp username and password. Hope this makes sense to you .
