Ant8681
Well my laptop decided to stop working yesterday so wasnt able to upload yesterdays pics so here they are and also todays efforts as well! Yesterday we went to a farm where the farmer wants the ferrals gone and the jackdaws reduced in numbers. I started off going through the barns and had only two ferrals, we then put out a magpie decoy and waited for the jackdaws. The first one fell to myself at 57 yards with my HW100, he dropped on the spot. The second (not pictured as it in poo and i wasnt going to go get it) fell to "click" at 70 yards with his FAC falcon, hell of a shot considering the wind! This is where we were shooting from, up to the gate at the far end: http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r559/Ant8681/DSC00190.jpg http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r559/Ant8681/DSC00191.jpg We were back on the estate shoot this morning where we are targeting the squizzers, didnt see many today, two infact, one of which fell to the HW100. After an hour of waiting at the bait station nothing was moving apart from a roe doe that nearly ran over "click", so we decided to take a walk to the rookery, on the way there we walked through a plantation where the squirrels had wiped out an awfull lot of the young trees, i think we are going to target this area next! Here are the results fom today: http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r559/Ant8681/DSC00196.jpg Edited May 18, 2012 by Ant8681
