MG6065
To be honest in the last few months I've been of the impression 'bigger is better' in the way any rough shooting trip I would go on I would take the 12, but last night i fancied a evening stroll abd I took out my mates 3 shot, bolt action 410 out for a patrol of the hedgerows ! I couldn't have been more impressed, I only shot a little permission but whereas when I would usually take the 12 the first shot would probably have been the last because the canon like sound would scare everything off! I was using 3 inch eleys , I shot one clean, stone dead in the first field, I walked up to the hedge to pick him up, peered over and there were 7 just feeding, totally oblivious to their mate getting shot, I managed to shoot 3 of these in 3 shots before any of them were any the wiser! I know for sure with the 12 I probably would have had one on the first shot and another on the second shot at one that was running in but this i managed to shoot 4 stationary rabbits! but I couldn't believe my eyes how For one this gun was destroying rabbits but I couldn't believe how the rabbits really didn't worry about the shot. It was if I was air gunning! To be honest it was a joy to use, very light, quiet shot and no recoil in the slightest ! And more importantly it's certainly more than capable of bagging bunnies! Salop Matt
Ive had mixed results with a .410, great bit of kit and its what i learnt with as a youth. Ammo is expensive and the butcher wont take bunnys shot with a shotgun either. So mine rarely gets out !
