Schmoo
Hi thought I would risk the onset of the rain and have a 3rd walk out with my new .22lr and see if the rabbits were feeding between down pours. I got out to one of my permissions at about 4pm, laid down and waited, over the course of the next 2 1/2 hours saw 6 rabbits come into view, I had a crack at all of them, but only got these 5, the 1st one I missed I think I shot well over it. The others were taken around the 60yd mark and one of them was taken at less than 10 paces, it came out from under a tree root looked at me for a while and hopped off, I have never moved so slowly in my life, trying to lay down from the sitting position I was in, remember not to lay on the fag I was smoking at the time  , grab the rifle and try and get the rifle on it, seemed to take an eternity but I managed it. I have a few questions for you guys, which I will post under another topic, about when to get up and retrieve your quarry etc, I will post these under another post heading. So here are the rabbits. Please note ALL were head shots, in the picture with the rifle it appears some may have been shot elsewhere, this is not the case, they have blood on them from the bag they were all put in to get them home.
