A chap from India was having loads of trouble with squizzers eating his bird food and wrecking the feeders. As a Hindu he was not allowed to use violence by his beliefs, but his body language was prety violent. He had a novel approach. Feeder poles well greased with multiple vaseline layers which was making it v difficult for them to get to the feeders and then he had mixed chilli seeds in with regular bird food. Birds apeared to be able to tell the difference but not the squizzers. Being the BBC the shot of a post chilli squizzer was brief but the it was looking most unwell after the squirrel equivalent of a vindaloo or worse a phall.
