Spud dog
Had my first practice round Manchester this afternoon. Really helpfull girl showed me round all the stands before I shot, gave me all the info. on stand set up. Was quite which was good for me as I was just wanting a practice session and trying to master mounting correctly and consistantly. Offererd lots of targets I hadn't experienced before. The hardest bit in practicing is when you are on your own, even with delayed traps getting in position is hard. A good usefull afternoon, but some of these bigger grounds are getting a bit giddy on the costs, £30/100 is steap to be shooting on a regular basis, especially when i am keen to practice as much as possible to get my basic technique sorted. Went with a mate to west mids, a similar story £15/50 + £1 for a cup of tea. The shooting is spot on at these places but the costs are just a bit steap. It sounds as though I am griping, it is just that I have been to Lupton the tea is free and 50 clays was £9 Spud dog
Wildfowler12
Try Catton hall instead mate, it's only £21 for 100 clays on a Wednesday! A little more expensive on Sundays. I tend to go with a mate, we get 150-200 clays between us and the price is cheaper still (bulk buy deal). If you ever fancy it give me a shout Oh, just to add... It's as good as Worsley IMO. It operates the same claymate type system. Edited June 22, 2012 by Wildfowler12

BlaserF3
For value for money, Crabtree Farm at Lupton takes some beating and there are even more stands available to shoot now
DNS
For value for money, Crabtree Farm at Lupton takes some beating and there are even more stands available to shoot now Only downside at Lupton is if you're on your own; but it's usually possible to hook up with someone else.
