Spaniel
Just wondering about these chokes PATTERNMASTER Choke Code Black Extended Range (Goose)Beretta price £108 I have a Beretta Xtrema and I was wondering if fitting one of these chokes would provide any extra benefits to wildfowling other then what the standard chokes with the xtrema would provide. Seems a lot of money to me, but what are the benefits im thinking about purchasing some Gamebore mammouths 3.5" cartridges for this season, once i find who stocks them.. anser2
There are a lot of good afterchokes on the market a lot cheaper than that. I often see them for £40-60. My Undertaker chokes cost £34.00 , but that was 5 years ago. The benifits are much better patterns than most fitted chokes , because they are more tapered and some are regulated for various types of non toxic shot and for specific shot sizes. There is one on USA Ebay at the moment OK its going to go at about $25 ish , but even with postage and tax thats still a lot less than £100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hunters-Specialties-Undertaker-Shotgun-Choke-Tube-Mossberg-Winchester-Browning-/400306638692 But make sure it will fit your type of gun Edited June 30, 2012 by anser2
