Amazed
Hi all, I have started work on a razzini E made in 1985. I am in two minds on weather to replace the parts and screws that are damaged like for like (have them made ) or to replace with modern equivalent. ? Any input / advice would be gladly received. Thank you, Karl.

Thank you, Karl. Have parts for an old E Rizzini MADE!!!!!!!!!!. You are joking of course. The costs of doing such a thing simply aren't worth the money, because an “E” Rizzini is at the lower end of the market, and you could spend £100 revamping a £275 shotgun and it would still only be worth £275. Now if it was a “B” Rizzini, that would be different. G.M.

I have a firing pin to make for it and a spring for the barrel selector. Will see how I get on and Will keep costs to a min, And keep it for a rough gun. maybe i find something nice to do a restoration on. Could you recommend any books or the like on the older shot gun so I can do a bit of reading up. Thank you Karl.
Ant8681
I have a rizzini e that I intend to do up at some point, not because of the cost etc, but because it was my first shotgun and I want it to last long enough for my boy to use! I bought a great book some 25 years ago called Amateur Gunsmithing by Desmond Mills & Mike Barnes, and that was the book I intended to recommend....... until I saw the price. Bloody hell!!!!!!!!!!   Perhaps you could Google it and find it a bit cheaper. http://www.anglebooks.com/product.php/32075/amateur-gunsmithing- G.M.
