Hi I got my Mrs an SMK xs19 .22 it's got a big recoil and is very noisy, so not a good hunter, she also finds it hard to cock being a break barrel (maybe because it’s a .22 not sure about the 1.77) she also finds the trigger quite hard. I put a Walther 3-9-40 scope on for her and after quite a bit of practise she is now hitting small cherry tomatoes of stakes in the ground at 30 meters, she also gets a kick out of hitting eggs at 40 meters. I know SMK’s arnt every ones cup of tea but as a cheap plinker she loves it. Hope this helps. Ps don’t tell any body but I quite like shooting it but she’s better than me with it. Tony Actually as the .177 pellet is much lighter than the .22 pellet, it is therfore easyer to propell faster and reach 12 ft/lbs, HG
