cheap an easy :good:

 

a better fix would be to take the bolt out and run a hack saw through the gap to open it up :yes:;)

 

I did that before on the negative, but I was at mine (rather than dad's) so didnt have a hacksaw.

 

My mate has a van full of terminals so I'll just put a new one one :good:

Mine did the same it was a lead to the starter touching another lead and it had burnt through I repaired the wire and it turned over. On mine the lights on the dash were doing all sorts the ignition would engage but it wouldn't turn over I checked everything until I noticed the two wires touching.
