Not sure where to post this one,just had my 1st batch of table birds killed and dressed average weights oven ready was 2.9 kg,one weighed 1.6 kg so that has been cooked ready for dinner tomorrow.But the drainings from the roasting pan didnt even equate to 3 tablespoons of juices,and most of that was fat from the maize i fed 10 days prior to them being killed.Just shows how commercial poultry is pumped with water etc.

The birds are, where ross cobbs killed at 7.5 weeks old and have a lovely golden sheen to them,cant wait for sunday dinner.
