pneumatic cylinders

Does anyone how pneumatic cylinders work as im going to make a pneumatic bipod for my aa s200, i really need information about how i could get the air into the cylinders and if i could get some sort of air source to fit onto the fore stock?

i really would like help with this and can you tell me if this has been done before?

I presume you are asking how pneumatic cylinders work?

 

Well you put air into one end and the other end telescopes remove the air and it retracts.

 

Can't quite see what you are trying to acheive or are you just after a damping action like in a car shock absorber?
