jamesneale89 Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 Just drove up to lindisfarne to collect my tide table and there is around 400-500 pink foot arriving for winter ready just ias I crossed the causeway I could hear the beautiful notes of " wink wink" I stopped the car and there they were about 600 yards to my right flighting over the sands:) only 12 days:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Seems they fly from Chester (ish) and off over Kelsall hill every night. Presumably they fly out in the day but I don't see them go. I am guessing they are roosting on Frodsham marshes, but where are they going every day? I am not after them, they do me no harm and I like to see them. Some nights they are low enough to shoot but I have never shot at them. Sometimes wonder if i should because they are a pest to someone, for now I am not going to though. Doriboy Posted August 30, 2012 Report Share Posted August 30, 2012 I took a photo of 200ish Canadas with about a dozen greys on the stubble on Monday and saw two white fronts flying over the marsh!!
