verminer Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 This is easy to make, all you require is the following. 1x piece of solid copper rod (big & long enough to fit down the bore of a .17hmr) 1x wooden toilet light cord pull handle Now all you need to do is glue one end of the rod into the wooden handle, and then (this is probably the hardest bit) drill a hole (big enough to insert a cotton ear bud) into the end of the copper rod. Now buy some cotton buds and cut them in half, and insert the shaft of the bud into the end of the rod and hey presto you have a perfect cleaning rod for the .17hmr.
