steve0146
A very still morning for the first, no wind at all and a full moon. Awake at 330am to drive to the marsh, with a high tide at 8am. Arrived to find a few people already there, so had to drop in behind them. As the tide made, the geese were just swimming along with it and eventually lifted and flew across the other side of the estuary. A few duck were also present. As I thought it was a non event, 3 geese came over reeds and across my position. Using a friends homeload, I fired and the first goose of the season is in the bag.
