  11. I got the green ones recently, took then on a duck shoot. It didn't rain but it was below 0,they did a good gob of keeping my hands warm and I had good dexterity when it came to using the gun.
  12. I've used my Browning 525 20b for years now on pheasants. I use to use 1/4 & 1/2 on the chokes but have found that 3/4 & Full are far better with this bore. I always reload but I find I'm content with a shop bought 28g of No6 as a good standard load that shoots well to the limit of the guns range. I would never go back to 12b now with pheasants and the like.
  13. Great pictures, I'm sure you enjoyed every minute of those 40hrs as I would!
  14. Look forward to seeing the pictures, glad it worked out.
  15. Totalled 5 x widgeon over the weekend, no geese though. I used the 10g using firing steel shot and not using decoys, just using the tides etc.
  16. Looks like it's going to be sealskinz I think, thanks for the advice gents.
  17. Well done OF & John. Glad you are both enjoying yourself.
  18. Thanks guys, I have my eye on a set of sealskinz gloves, hunter ones I think? I saw the hand muff, novel, good thing about it is that you don't loose your dexterity as you would with some big gloves. Any ideas on waders? Regards
