DJL4
Son has just bought a Zeiss Victory HT scope which has a "rail" type mount. He wants to sit it on his Sako 95 and would like to know where he can get the correct mounts for his gun. Any help would be much appreciated. Karl. Hi Karl thanks for the reply. When you say there's a company that "still" make them it sounds as if they're an older type fitting yet this is one of the latest Zeiss scopes? Surely there's a common/easier method of mounting it? I know he wont be selling the scope anytime soon as he's only just bought it. Amazed
Hi pal. It is an older European way of mounting scopes wich was supassed for the more simple ring mounts. So it's not made much anymore. My ziess scope was made a long time ago and comes with the rail or claw type mounting rail on the bottom of the scope. This mounting is still available on the modern scopes and so are the mounts but if you think 200 is rich get a quote from ziess ha ha http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/220428-carl-ziess-diatal-6x42/#entry1895795 That's mine, have been looking now for about 7 months as 200 notes is a lot of money to spend mounting a scope.
