Bloke
If you know they have cleared the references and entered the FEO report on the system, the only hold up is the sheer pressure of numbers. If you search the net, you can get the procedural sheets, with a step- by - step list of the FAC/SGC grant procedure, there is one on the Lincs police site, but it takes some finding. My FAC was about twelve weeks after the FEO visit. It is well worth making a (polite) phone call to enquire about the progress of your application, though. When I rang the last time, it turned out that one of the reasons for the delay was that an admin officer had processed the FEO report, but hadn't taken it off the main screen, so it looked like I had not had an FEO visit- it would have waited for ever if I hadn't enquired. Word to the wise though, it is not a good idea to get angry with them, though- doesn't look good, and could result in your papers slipping to the bottom of the pile, they really don't want to mess you about, they just have to follow protocol, like the rest of us. Good luck, hope it arrives soon...
bedwards1966
It can take a while, just phone them up and ask what is happening. Ignore any comments you hear that inquiring about the progress puts your application to the bottom of the pile, they don't mind you politely telling them that it's been a long time since you heard anything, and therefore wanting to know how much longer it's going to take as you need the pests controlling. They get it all the time.
