adam_r
Hi all, I've just moved house and have finally got round to changing the address on my certificate. Before I moved I put the gun on a friends certificate. As I'm renting a room in a shared house there is little chance of me being able to have a cabinet fitted. I have a friend local to my new place that is willing to have the gun but will the police revoke my licence ? Thanks all
HDAV
You need to sign it on to friends SGC as "lent" and inform police if they are going to have it over 72 hours.
adam_r
What about the fact I can't physically have a cabinet at my residence? I should add I'm moving counties
HDAV
What about the fact I can't physically have a cabinet at my residence? As long as you dont store a gun there it is of no consequence............ A friend had her SGC for 18 months before buying a gun and had no cabinet for that time. A cabinet is not a condition of SGC but of storing a gun. Edited September 18, 2012 by HDAV
