Ant8681
I made the big mistake of trying to cover up a little blemish on my barrel by covering it in camo wrap until such a time I could sort it. I did as the guy in the shop recomended and oiled the barrel heavily first but this had no effect as the barrel is now totaly screwed!!!!!! I asked about re-bluing and he said about £100 so I had a look at the price of a new barrel and its £17 cheaper! What I would like to know is, was the price for re-bluing o.t.t and if so please could someone point me in the right direction. Also, is it an easy job to replace the barrel bearing in mind I have never taken my hw apart! Thank you in advance Ant!
snarepeg
Remove stock, unscrew air cylinder, and loosen grub screw in front of block between cylinder and barrel pull barrel out but dont lose the o ring, sometimes it comes out with barrel sometimes not. john

secretagentmole
A tad? Bleeding extortionate more like. Manchester Air Guns do have a long waiting list, there is a guy on the AGF or BBS that does proper rebluing as well, his turn round times are a lot better!
