Piebob
i know its a bit early to be thinking of next season but me,my brother and a couple of mates are looking at going "walked up" grouse shooting next season.just wondered wheres the best places to go and how much are we looking at,has any got any advise or experiance they want to share? I had a chat with a keeper about the same a couple of weeks back. He was £100 per brace and would charge, as a mimimum, for a 10 brace day. They need that kind of money to cover the logistics of getting vehicles, people and dogs out for a day I guess. So, starting price there was £1000 per day between the guns. He said 4-6 guns would be best, and to book a day earlier in the season rather than later.
