THE GRIFF Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2012 Got one mail order, I also had my doubts on Wednesday night when I was sweating after walking about 300 yards but I did have a fleece on under it. I really felt the bennifits tonight when it was cold, and at no point did I sweat but was as warm as toast. The only things apart from the zip that I have instantly noticed could be improved is the game pocket on the back needs the entrance making bigger, I struggled to get a big mallard in this morning. Also the hood could do with a strap from the back of the neck to the top of the hood to keep the hood from coming too far forward and restricting your view, it could also bennifit from a wired hood. I think this jacket will be just the job for the winter, maybe a bit too warm if you are on the move but perfect for standing/sitting about in the cold.
