ace_of_hearts
Got a couple of boxes of these to try out in the new Hatsan 20g, what is the general concensus on these cartridges? Not the cheapest but my local place sells them so thought i would give them a go. I also have a box of Hull Pro Twenty's (21gram) to try to see if the Hatsan will cycle those as well. Should be interesting on Sunday when we try them out. Are there any others that we should try?

ace_of_hearts
Thanks for that, I have just had a look online and the gamebore cartridges are all 65mm which if i remember correctly from the first time we took the gun out it it didn't cycle well, so i think i will try longer cased cartridges from now on. I have found the Eley CT20, Hull Pro Twenty, Rio Top Target C20 and Fiocchi Top 20 all have longer cases in 24 gram so i will try all of these out i think. The gun is used by my girlfriend and last time we tried 28 gram she did'nt get on with it too well, so if we now stick to 24 gram i am finally narrowing down the search quite a bit
bicykillgaz
Hull Three crowns 23g no7 are nice to shoot through my o/u 20g I got them for my wife to use, hull sterling game 25g (I think) no6 are nice too. I use gamebore traditional game 28g no5s for decoying and carry a pocket full of rc20 semi magnums 32g no4's for rabbit I'm yet to try them on fox. ace_of_hearts
Well the Rios were terrible Jammed up 4 or 5 times in 50 shots. The problem with them was the plastic bulged out at the top end, making then a very tight fit in the chamber, even when putting the in by hand! The 21g Hull Pro Twenty's on the other hand were great, so will try out some 24g versions next time we are out.
