PAV331
Hi all, I have a 2003 686 white onyx chambered for 3" carts with mobile chokes. Got a waterfowl flight on Saturday and wanted to check its ok for steel. There's various stamped markings on the barrel one being PSF (near the date of manufacture letters). I know the obvious sign is a fleur-de-lis, it doesn't have this but the manual states that the chokes are steel proof but makes no reference to the barrel proofing. I've had a AL391 before without a fleur-de-lis marking and mobile chokes and shot a load of steel through it before without any problems so I'm guessing it'll be fine. Had a quick scout on the web and can't find much. I'd be grateful for a reply from someone with a good knowledge of Italian proof markings or has shot steel through this gun. Thanks in advance.
