DrBlox
I've just got back from doing a recce, for tomorrow, on my permission. A flock of around thirty woodies were continually hitting a couple of hedgerows. I knew that they weren't after cobnuts or sloes (both had a very poor season) and I thought they might be after the haws. On closer examination I found that they were stuffing themselves full of deadly nightshade berries. This got me worried - if I bag a few for the pot is there a chance of poisoning myself?
