Frenchieboy
The weather (According to the BBC Weather Web Site) is looking reasonable for this Sunday coming so I am off to Clough Head Clay Grounds near Todmorden for a clay shoot - Well I'm going to point the gun at them but that's not saying I am going to break any, just allow the gun to make a bit of noise! Clough Head Clay Grounds is about a mile and a half out of Todmorden on the Bacup Road and is well worth visiting. It is well organised and costs £10.00 for the 50 bird shoot. It is FIBRE WADS ONLY and cartridges are available for sale at the grounds if required. It starts at 10:00 but if you get there a bit earlier there are bacon butties, teas and coffees for sale. If anyone is interested and needs directions please let me know. There might well be a few of the lads from Chadderton Rifle and Pistol Club there with me so I hope to see a few of you for a meet up and a good time and laugh together.
