fishingtex
Hi all just bought some sillosock pigeon and crow decoys. My mate had some and I thought they worked really well. I decided to buy some for myself and when they have turned up the spikes have a bend on the end now. Has anyone else got some recently and how do you put the spike or hook in them now. Before was easy it went in the bottom of the decoy in line with the holes in the plastic. Now the holes in the plastic run the wrong way. Any info on them would be appreciated. ScubaSparky
The Pigeon one I have, has a plastic ferrule in place on the bottom, where you place the carbon fibre rod/spike into...
ScubaSparky
Sorry just read your msg again.... I would try emailing the supplier (shoot warehouse was it?) the lady there is quite helpful when I had a query with the assembly of the rods in my Sillosock crow hypaflap
fishingtex
Thanks I've emailed uk shoot warehouse and they have replied. You now have to push the rod through from the top of the decoy and the hook at the end secures it, stopping the rod going all the way through. Just done it and it is a bit awkward, pushing the rods through the plastic. But they work just fine.
