clayandgame
Well I hope the weather holds out tonight and doesn't start to p@## down again like it usually does either just before or just as we get to our destination. Going out with Greenhunter tonight in the hope of a few bunnies and Charlie and really looking forward to it. Hopefully I will be able to post some pics over the weekend of an excellent night lamping. fingers crossed

clayandgame
Well The weather stayed fine for once last night and we had a decent nights lamping for a change. Greenhunter managed to few bunnies with his .22 and I managed 2 charlies with the .223, unfortunately one of these managed to drag himself away to ground which was a shame. The one on the pic was roughly around 200 yards and dropped on the spot. A large healthy looking dog fox. Anyway I managed to get a couple of pics as promised I do have more but not got the time to resize etc at the mo as I am off to get sorted for this afternoons pheasant shoot. My mate Wol holding charlie up so you can get an idea of his size.
clayandgame
Had a good afternoon shooting on the sat too. Took my 6 yr old Son out on his first pheasant shoot and he seemed to really enjoy it, Think he will be coming most weeks this season now which I am chuffed about. Also took my dads 18 month old choc lab out for the first time with the gun and she really impressed me. Retreiving a couple of pricked birds which other dogs had missed so that made my day, so much so I only shot one drive and worked the dog for the rest. Anyway we ended up with a dozen pheasants 1 woodcock and a charlie. Should have been 2 but unfortunately 1 was missed and got away. So all in all I had a good weekend and Cant wait for this weekend now, Going out with the rifle again on friday (weather permitting) and on the pheasants again on sat.
