ejector timing on a Dan Arms

I recently picked up a Dan Arms O/U, however there seems to be a problem with the ejector timing on the bottom barrel. It appears it trys to eject the cartridge before the breech is fully open. Does anyone know how to adjust this, and does anyone know how to actually get the ejectors out so I can check them over for grit etc?

if i remeber correctly, your dan arms uses the same system as my silma. when you remove the barrels from the action, there are 2 ejector sliders that move freely in the bottom of the action in a little channel. these have been known to break and cause the problem that you have mentioned.

try sliding them out with your finger and check that they dont come out past the end of the action, and that they both come out the same distance. if one comes out further than the other, it will need replacing. luckily, i havnt had to do this yet. and spares may be an issue.

hope this goes someway to ruling out one possible problem mate. :good:
