Frenchieboy
I enjoy making bits of kit that I can use for shooting and am now thinking of making a couple of Bouncers or Floaters for when I am out crow shooting. (I don't want the hastle of having to make and transport a rotary in a small car) Has anyone else make their own and if so what materials did they use and how did they make them please. I was thinking of using a few fibre glass (Or similar) rods, rather like temt poles, that can be fitted/clipped together so that they will fit in the boot of my car. Any thoughts or tips please anyone?

TEMPER
I made some bouncers using 6mm re-bar and welded a small plate to the bottom of them so i can push them into hard ground with my boot. They weigh next to nowt and take up nearly no room at all. The rotory i made though is a good solid job, it just weighs a ton! I've yet to use them all in the field so can't comment on how good they are. Regards TEMP
