Suffolk shooter
Sitting at home tonight, reading sporting gun and the letters page, I noted an article relating to Pigeon shooting and the general licence. Now, I am not entirely new to the whole shooting game, but I must admit to not knowing whether or not you actually have to apply for a general licence or whether it is just one of those things that applies to everybody regardless? Bit like the unwritten rules of hunting etiqutte. I pay every year for my game licence in order that I may shoot game etc., but have never been askeds to produce it. Is this the same for the General licence and shold I have been getting this from the post office or is it a varying regional thing?!?!?!?!? Does this mean that I may have been hunting, shooting, pigeon or other vermin without the correct paperwork in place?!?!??! Help confused and concerned
Graham M
The "General Licence" is one of those bits of paper that applies to all of us without actually having to possess it. If you really want to have a copy then have a look through this nand download the relevant one.
