Fudge40 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 Today was the first time I have been pigeon shooting, I went with another member from this forum who was great at explaining about setting decoys up with regards to wind direction etc. I did not manage to hit any pigeons but had a great day out regardless. I can see why so many of you like pigeon shooting and am counting down the days till I can go again. I have been shooting clays for 6 months but am new to pigeon shooting, so if anyone has good advise to help me get my first pigeon i would be greatful Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

miniross Posted February 26, 2013 Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 I was lucky enough to be take out a few times with a member of PW when I first started out last year it's great to have someone who knows what they are doing to show you the ropes a little. I was lucky enough to get a few in my first time but not much since being in my own I'm getting the birds to decoy but on over thinking the shots so missing I know where I'm going wrong to need to give myself a kick up the bum wen I'm in the field otherwise I get frustrated and makes my shooting even worse.
