  1. I think we should see if eddie jones wants to change the shape of his ball, The results he has had on the England Rugby team have been amazing, Hopefully he could do the same with the alleged England football team
  2. That is the best result this evening, so who for next England manager
  3. Are you hearing this speech, what a load of tosh. Hopefully it ends with him leaving
  4. Do you think we can have a re-match then just to make sure the football result was right?
  5. I work for a rental company, Allot of car's dont come with spares now (or even a place to put one) they just have cans of junk which is no good if the tyre is damaged. The company I work for have 24/7 tyre assistance but in the event that the tyre suppliers do not have the correct brand of tyre, we authorise any brand of tyre to be put on in the correct size. If there is not a tyre in the size at all we have branched that we can call out of hours to open up to supply the customer a new car. I cannot believe Avis do not offer this service, very poor for the person stranded at the side of the road

    ppi claims

Dont use a company to do your PPI claim. As others have said you can download template letters from the internet. Fill in a few bits of information. Send it to your bank & wait. I did this years ago & am still getting cheques in the post due to them calculating the amounts incorrectly which I was not aware of, but now they are paying the difference with extra intrest. Happy days.
  7. Good Afternoon, I have had the above gun for about a year & still not 100% happy with the set up. I have tried many different pellets in it, I must have kept pellet Perfect in business over the year buying different sample pellets to try. I have zero'd the gun to 40 yards (outdoors) then tried to put a group within a inch area, So far I have not been able to put all 10 pellets within this area, only about 60% are in this area. Hoping to be at about 90% before I feel comfortable to use it for pest control. Would trying to zero & group it in a indoor range be a better option? If so does anyone know of a friendly indoor range near Melton Mowbray where you dont have to be a member to use the facilities? Plus I have thought about getting a bipod to keep the rifle steady as I shoot so would this be a benefit (if so any recommendations )or am I just clutching at straws? Would having the rifle Regulated made a big difference to the accuracy too as I find once I have charged the rifle to 200bar the first shots don't seam to follow any kind of patter then I get 15/20 which seam to be of better quality before it drops off again. Who make/fit the best regulators for the rifle mensioned Any help or information would be a great help before I think of selling and looking for an alternative rifle.
  8. Any news on where these will be back in stock as we are now in June?
  9. I have a battery at the moment that is 3 years old, Its a lead acid 12v 12amp one which I got when I purchased my magnet. Lately the charge has not been lasting too long but am only using the cheap charger that came with it. Is it worth buying a new charger to see if that makes it last longer or just buy a new battery. If its get a new charger what would you recommend, I was looking at trickle chargers but there so many out there it gets confusing. If its a new battery I would buy the same one from A1 as this one has lasted a good amount of time or is there better out there? Thanks in advance
  10. Having just used my first box of the Pigeon select cartridges (normally use Hull super fast Pigeon) I cannot find much difference except I had to go up on the choke. Normally shoot 1/4 but on the pigeon select had to go up to 1/2 to get a good pattern. Normally use a Over & under but got a semi auto so might just be the semi auto casing me to go up a choke but brings the pigeons down without an issue. Anyone else tried these out & found the same in the last few months since the first comments about them?
  11. After a few weekends of not being able to shoot due to work & other commitments I finally got out with my shooting buddy Armsid. After setting up in a promising field of beans by 2.30pm under a tree with a field of fully flowering rape behind us it was not long till the first shots rang out. Having not shot for a few weeks and still getting used to the new Semi-auto all were misses. Not to be put off after another 20 mins two birds came slow into the decoys from across the field. I took the one at the back and Armsid took the one at the front. A shot each later we had our first two in the bag, Then the farmer turned up to spray the bean fields so a chat with the farmer & an enforced coffee & cake brake for 45mins followed. Not to be put off we hung around for a few more hours hoping for the pigeons to slowly return, slowly they did. With Armsid taking at out a great shot at about 30 yards only being able to see a small amount of the bird as it disappeared around a tree, next thing you see is the explosion of feathers as the bird hits the ground. As time went on the pigeons were getting few & far between so when one passed at 40 yards I had to take a shot at it, 6 meters of lead & a slight payer the semi-auto hit its mark to bring the pigeon down stone dead, but right in the high rape so could not find it no matter how hard we looked, Not the biggest bag of 7 pigeons but a great afternoon out with quality company & enjoyment which is what its all about.
  12. Great pictures, love the black & white ones
  13. Leicester & Melton Mowbray depending on the time of day.
  14. Teague Chokes would be a good call, If you ask then or send them a picture of your current choke they can advise you which ones you need to order. I did this when I was looking for replacement chokes in my bettinsoli. Could not have asked for better service from them
  15. I have dealt with a Company called Hard Tops UK, I have used them once or twice with work when we needed a canopy, Hopefully you might find something on there website.
  16. with reference to the shoot in Cotesbach, I have done a quick search and believe it used to go under the name of Cotesbach Game Ltd, There is a video from last year on the internet which shows the company name on the tally card. I am sure a search on the company name will give to a starting point to make contact. Hope it helps
  17. They sell them on here, Message Teal to find out if he still has them & the cost
  18. Sorry for your loss, not had to go through it myself yet as on my first dog which is a member of the family. You have your memories of her
  19. I have only used 2ply camo net but its perfect for building a hide, I think with an extra ply it would be hard to see out as clearly but others that have 3 ply might advise different, I would say go for the 2 ply. I have it in two different colours which covers most seasons too
  20. Can I ask where you got these from ?
  21. Evening, I would always recommend Kibworth to anyone looking for a good shooting ground in the East Midlands area. I had never even shot a gun when I first went to Kibworth for an introduction to shooting, I was hooked from day one, The coaching staff are great (I had a gent called Dave) and the other half also had lesson but unsure who she had. The people that go are friendly & always willing to offer advise to a novice like i was, Sunday mornings are very busy. The layouts are suitable for all levels of Shooting abilities too. The cafe and shop are good too. highly recommend you have a visit to the ground and become a member if your planning to use it a lot.
  22. I'm looking at stocking up on Cartridges as my current one's are running low. Currently I have Hull Super fast 29G no6's but they have crept up cost wise & hard to find in the Midlands area, I was hoping to purchase some proper cartridges but currently they are not producing Fibre cartridges which is what I require due to the land I shoot on. So can anyone recommend a valve for money alternative, I have seen Eley Pigeon Select at a good price (170 per 1000)but not sure if they are any good. Suggestions would be welcome, Thank in advance
  23. I work for a vehicle management & leasing company (based in Leicester) The lease price is normally worked out on the mileage you advise your doing. Most quotes are based on 10k per year and your only doing 6k per year there would be no extra mileage to pay. The only thing to look out for is if maintenance is included in the cost as an L200 service roughly cost £150+ if done at a main dealer which the contract might insist on, If you want an alternative company to give you an alternative quote so you can see if it is a good deal PM me & I will advise what company I work for. I wont put it on here as dont want to look as if I am advertising.
