huffhuff
Hi guys and gals, Any daystate gurus on here? My mk3 is playing up. Batteries fully charged, cylinder full... but maybe 3 out of 10 shots doesn't fire (randomly). I pull trigger, can feel/hear the microswitch click...but nothing. I have tried reseting it but no good. It's not a huge problem, as it fires eventually. However, I'm not 100% happy in case I need to make a follow-up shot. Any help greatly received, Cheers

Any help greatly received, Cheers When this happened with my Mk4 (and a mates Mk3) it was the battery pack. I had fully charged it but it simply wasn't holding the charge. On inspection of it I could see the cells had swollen slightly at one end. The replacement pack from Daystate was different to original as consisted of what looked like a bundle of AAA's rather than a pack of flat cells but easy to fit as just needed plugging in. My mates Mk3 - exactly the same problem though not quite as straightforward to sort as his battery pack was soldered into the board and he had to find someone competent enough to replace it without damaging the electronics. He could have sent it to Daystate but reckoned that was too expensive!
