Gun Watch
Cogswell & Harrison Avant Tout £795 12 gauge Shotgun Trade Seller Used - Average Condition Horley, Surrey Side by Side, 1/4 Choke, 1/2 Choke, 30" barrels Description This is a classic English Boxlock. The gun was made in May 1913 and delivered to Mr C Gutteridge at the Piccadilly G&H shop. The gun is sold with a certificate of origin from G&H. The gun has the Avant Tout assisted opening system and non selective ejectors. This simply means that if only one cartridge was fired, both will eject. As the ejectors are seperated, it is probable that there is a repairable ejector seletion fault that could be rectified to give selective ejectors. The barrels are fine English Arcus steel. The barrels have been polished, dents removed, and reproofed at Birmingham to 70mm nitroproof. The stock length has been altered from original and has a wood addition lengthening the stock. It’s a professional job. 30" Barrels 15" pull 2 1/2" 70mm chamber - new proof Twin trigger Full ejector* Auto-safety Choked 1/4- and 1/2+ The seller of this gun doesn't appear to be a Pigeon Watch member, to contact them please use the details on Gun Watch.
