Drongo
A friend has been at me for a while to take him out rabbit shooting and last night we finally got organised... I got him to first fire 2 boxes at paper targets at varying ranges to make sure he could hit and kill consistently and after I was happy I let him go with some shots about 60m. He missed everything tho' Thinking its him worrying about getting the kill that hampered his aim, I mean if you 'wound' a paper target there is no harm, but when on live quarry it's a different story. Didn't put him off tho, we've another date night sorted and we will try again. Me on the other hand, I shot 8 from the freelander driving to and from the ambush, went out to pick up one and found another hiding in a scrape so that made 9 rabbits with 8 shots. Tidying up and 2 sets of yellow eyes caught the lamp, watched them get closer then they stopped and wouldn't come further... Dropped rabbits at approx 100m before, was shooting Winchester subs so I got my range finder out and measure 82m. Figured it was achievable and squeezed one off... Little Charlie stopped on the spot, with a 40 grain hollow point headache.
