Pheasants
Does anybody have experience with "Leycesteria formosa" (golden pheasant berry)?
Kes
Is this the same plant as 'sea buckthorn' this bush produces a proliferation of orange / yellow berries in season which is much-loved by pheasants - learned this from Peter Robertsons book 'The natural history of the Pheasant - The book recommends planting these bushes as autumn feed. They are very thorny but recommended - If its the same one !
