Krico .260 firing pin

I may have a chance to pick up a old krico 260 .22 s/a soon enough for cheap money. I know they are old and I hear parts are becoming hard to source. Seen magazines going for 100euro.

Another thing I hear a lot is because they're old and could be used a lot is that the firing pin wears down on them and causes mis-fires. meant to be another difficult thing to source.

Does anyone know would it be possible to make a firing pin or what would have to be done?

Thats a sound offer cheers, I do know of lads who do precision engineering and working with lathes every day but I was wondering would it be a easy or tough job to make, to be honest ive no idea what the whole shape of the pin looks like or what material it would have to be made of.

The rifle itself has a bit of surface rust and ware on it but i heard they're a brilliant gun and cost a lot back in the day.
