gunner269 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) I shot half a dozen Rabbits on Monday evening, I paunched them just before leaving the farm. I put them into my game fridge and left them over night, the day after, I skinned and jointed them and as some of them were a bit bloodshot I soaked them overnight in saline. However today , when I went to cut the pieces up prior to mincing them, there was a strong gassy smell and there were small bubbles all over the meat.
