lincs1963
Afternoon chaps, Just wondering if anyone on here has a HK416 rimfire? I have one and it's brilliant, apart from the fact that the little red silicone 'O' ring that centres the barrel in the flash hider has now broken up and I am struggling to source a replacement. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can get any from, or better still know the size and spec of the original ring so I can order from an industrial supplier in bulk? thanks in advance for any help, cheers, Neil
lineshooter
It`s the same o ring as used on their .22 colt M4/M16 models and a couple of .22 pistols, could you not just take the inner and outer barrel into a local supplier and get a match ,
lincs1963
That was today's mission, only one open. He had the right size but the wrong profile and material. I have spent an age online trying to find the spec (internal diameter, gauge and material as there are thousands of suppliers and they are cheap, but it aint cheap if they don't fit. I'll wait until Monday now and go and try some of the more industrial suppliers as you suggest. Thanks mate, Neil
lineshooter
Thats a ******. they do have a Facebook page Umarex Sportwaffen you could ask them if they have anyone in the UK with spares, this is the part number if you dont already have 512.50.06.2, you might be lucky, it may be just any o ring and they give you the spec, worth a try...
