shootingmike
Shouldered one of these today and was prettyimpressed. I know it's a budget gun, not a true benelli etc.. But, being 3" and steel proofed, does anyone have any experience of shooting one with 3" steel? I did notice it was pretty light, so do they kick real bad? Do they stand up well to wildfowling? Failing that, any beretta es100 owners might be able to help being as its the same gun. Cheers...

LRXS
I'm not a wildfowler and haven't used 3" steel thro mine so not sure how relevant my views are to your situation, but since you've not been flooded with replies... I got one with synthetic stock as my foul weather gun. It is light and thumps a bit with 32g, more than you might expect from a semi, but is fine. There's something very simple and honest about it - you can quite literally get it soaked and full of mud, wash it out in a stream and get going again. It's like the series landrover of the gun world! I also looked at Beretta synthetic A300 for pretty similar money and do sometimes wonder if that would have been better choice. My first job after adding a sling was to take a black permenant marker to the tacky gold writing on the receiver - big improvement. It's an ok gun for the money, simple, reliable, so far indestructible. Good luck with your decision
shootingmike
Thanks for that. The recoil issue is interesting, I noticed how light it was and I wondered if it would kick a bit. I am recoil sensitive so maybe the a300 which I'm also seriously considering would be the better choice. Thanks again. Mike.
