Webley Falcon advise

I've finally had the time to strip down my newly acquired 60's Webley Falcon so I was wondering if somebody with experience of the gun would have a look at the below photo to see what kind of shape the piston cocking shoe is in. It looks pretty good to me and the gun cocks but as I've never seen one before.................

After speaking to a few people who know these guns far better than me, it appears that the piston is fairly heavily worn and will need repair at some point. I've arranged to get it TIG welded which will hopefully give that gun another 40 years of use.

I also stripped the innards down and discovered (unsurprisingly) that the piston seal was knackered and to my horror I discovered an airgunners nightmare...........an OX spring!
