njc110381
I phoned the shop to arrange to pick up my loan gun today, and was told I could have mine! GMK don't get much done at this time of the year, so the gunsmith took it out and used it to see what was going on. It turns out he couldn't find the fault because there isn't one. The 24g carts I was using don't recoil much, so it didn't switch to the second barrel properly. That's what caused it to jam. They said that once it's been used a bit, it'll loosen up and be fine. The safety wasn't jammed either, because the gun played up I didn't want to force the issue like I usually do in case I damaged something. I feel a bit silly now, but at least it's back
sean c
i had a similar problem with my 686 were the trigger would lock up but the gun would still open also the trigger would sometimes delay the firing by a second or so.i took it to the gun smith and he put me a heavier recoil spring in and now its fine.
