I want one for the coming season, ideally i want to use it for my 28" barrel game gun but I also want my 28" maxus to fit as well. Shropshire_Lad Posted October 8, 2013 Report Share Posted October 8, 2013 Hi, I have one and a Beretta with 30 " barrels and extnded chokes is at THE MAX!!! I needed the slimmer butt pad which helped a lot. Not sure about the 28" semi though. As regards to the slip they are sturdy and will protect your gun from a good old knock ;-) atvb Paul. My only slight gripe are the carrying handles and the way they lock together which means when you want to take your gun out - broken for safety - you have to unclip them apart in order to get the zip open enough to break the gun. Gun measures (686 evo 30" external chokes ) 481/2" from toe to end of chokes or 1230 mm and just goes in with the slimmer butt pad supplied .
