michaeladkins
Just purchased my first ever Shotgun from the Oxford Gun Co - Just wanted to recommend the place as a good place to get advice and a decent range of gear to choose from. The staff gave me 3 hours of their time and a free go on the clay range to try out the gun of my choice (browning o/u) BEFORE i spent any cash. Its a good hours drive from me but i found it excellent and well worth the trip. If any one on here knows the staff please pass on my thanks - Michael

Dunkield
I bought my first Beretta from Doug when they were still the London Gun Company - Christ, how long ago was that!!? Very good advice then, he checked fit etc before selling me the gun, and he knows what he is on about - which helps...
young airgunner
is that one just outside oakley situated on jericho farm. when i first started airgunning, it was the only gun shop i knew of and went there for pellets. i then realised that i was being severely over charged for a tin of .177 air arms field- they were charging £8 for a tin of 500. anyway sounds like they are a good place to go if you want a shotty though as you say they gave you 3 hours of there time and a go on the clay range. enjoy the new gun mate cheers james
michaeladkins
Yes its defo a shotgun shop and airguns look to be an ''add on'' BUT when you want a shotgun you need good advice from people who know and Doug was great, They made me really welcome (despite being a newbie and trying to hold the shotguns like my rifles!!). If you can say thanks Will it would be much appreciated Michael

Browning GTS
I got mine this time of year for £999 normal price about £1250. So i thought they seemed ok. Plus if buying a used gun you can try it out first.
