hoggysreels
Iv'e read in a few threads, the topic/supposed benefits, of extended chokes, when using, steel shot. Presently l'm using a multi-choke with what l'd call, standard type flush fitting chokes. My simplistic understanding is :- half choke max constriction when using super steel above cartridges, size No 4 ... l'm wondering what extended chokes offer benefit wise over and above the standard supplied chokes that came with the Lincoln Premier multichoke l presently own .. Is it possible using these extended chokes to use a tighter choke when using, say super steel No 1's and larger shot ... presently l'm going to stick to a quarter/half choke when using super steel magnums No1 cartridges, but l quite fancy the idea of the option of a 3/4 choke option ... cheers ...
