suicide bunnys and bull terrier

went up to one of my permissions yesterday to drop some gear off at my new holiday home i've bought which happens to be on 50 acres of land that i shoot on, anyway put the gear in and set my trusty old rimmy up , checked the zero and off i went for a drive around..... lovely crisp dry autumnal day and saw a couple of rabbits who sat solid better than my cocker pup does ....so two in the bag mmmmm good start i thinks.

carried on and another one pops out onto the road and number three is in the bag, ay up this is easy i'm thinking and number four comes along......... best sit and have a cuppa coffee before i burns out my luck and while im munching on a ginger nut there are three playing up the bank right in my eye line, bingo were on 7

when i picked them up one looked like it was anorexic so dumped that one , down to 6........ coffee break over and another couple of hours and its just starting to darken and i picked another 10 giving me a total of 16 in the bag.

as always i have one last drive around the site and check all is in order when i spot something big and black shuffling along at the back of one of the homes, lost sight of it whilst i was thumbing for my torch when i finally got the torch on which is red i could just make out its legs from underneath some decking , to say i was a bit unnerved hehehe so i give it a squeak and out popped its head and it was a hell of a sized dog.

one half of me was pleased and the other worried as it had no collar on and no one on the site has a dog like this bull terrier......we are surrounded by sheep and only two houses that it doesn't belong to.

it got off pretty smart ish and i drove around for a while but didnt see it again..... got off down the road to gut the bag of the day as didn't want to be hands full of blood and guts and that comes looking for supper

 

i know im a big jessy and some of you would of wrestled it into a bag and took it home but not me
